SCHOOL TAX INFORMATION

IMPORTANT SCHOOL TAX INFORMATION – PLEASE READ
2023 School Tax Dates:

September 5th – October 6th – payment accepted with no penalty.

October 7th – November 6th – payment must include 2% penalty.
Taxes unpaid after November 6th are relevied to the January 2024 Town and County tax bill with an additional penalty.

THE PREFERRED METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR ALL SCHOOL TAXES IS BY MAIL TO:
PEMBROKE CSD TAX COLLECTOR, PO BOX 7129, BUFFALO, NY 14240.  
 DO NOT MAIL CASH
Every tax bill will receive a return envelope for convenience.  The US Postmark date is accepted as payment date.

M&T Bank is unable to accept any in person payments at their branches.  Please provide your bill with payment in the envelope enclosed with the bill.  If necessary, Cash/check/money order payments can be accepted at the Pembroke Jr./Sr. High School from 8:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. on school days

ONLY THE EXACT CHANGE AMOUNT CAN BE ACCEPTED IF PAYING BY CASH IN PERSON.

According to New York State Real Property Tax Law, property owners are responsible for all taxes, whether or not they receive a bill.  All tax bills will be mailed the beginning of September.  If you do not receive a tax bill please contact Sherry Reeb, Tax Collector at (585) 599-4525 x1965 or email at sreeb@pembrokecsd.org.  We also have an online service at www.taxlookup.netThis site provides information on ownership of property, the tax for that property and payment information.  You may also see the assessed value of the property, exemptions, acreage, etc.  You can also view and print prior tax year bills/receipts as well.  This site does not take payments.

Please contact your Town Assessor for information regarding tax roll name changes, and questions regarding exemptions and assessments.
