Your Alexander/Pembroke Defenders are Section V Class C champions!! There will be a fire department escort through both towns with a trophy celebration at Alexander when they return! Be on the look out around 4:30 to wave as they go by! Congrats on an amazing season, keep it rolling, go Defenders!

Fall and Winter Athletics Update:

Fall = The Varsity Football team is competing for the Sectional Championship this Saturday (11/15) @ Rush-Henrietta HS with a 12:00pm kick-off. Buy your tickets now by scanning the QR code!

Winter = The winter season for the following sports starts Monday (11/17). Make sure you are registered on FamilyID so you are ready for the first day of practice!

Dragon Spotlight!

We’d like to congratulate two of our Senior Dragons on earning Player of the Week honors!

Jacob Johnson was named the Section V Class C Defensive Player of the Week for football, and DJ Hale was named the Genesee Region Player of the Week for boys soccer.

Congratulations to both of you on your hard work and achievements! Go Dragons!

Starting this school year, the Section V sportsmanship committee is going to be running a "Caught in the Act of Kindness" campaign. Often times poor sportsmanship receives more attention, and not enough emphasis is put on the extraordinary sportsmanship actions that are happening in each game. If an Athletic Director from an opposing school witnesses an extraordinary act of kindness, they will give that student-athlete a Section V Bag Tag and will be promoted on the Section website. Let's strive to have Pembroke be the most represented school being caught in the act of kindness! Go Dragons!

Since the end of the school year, the construction team has been working diligently on the high school gym renovation. Today, as part of the planned work, they began removing the gym roof!

This morning, we had 6 incredible student athletes honored during Signing Day. These individuals will be continuing their athletic careers at the collegiate level. We are honored to have been a part of your journey as you travel on to the next level of athletics. Go Dragons!

Congratulations to our incredible Student Scholar Athletes! These students have all maintained a GPA of 90% or higher. We had nearly 90 students qualify as Scholar Athletes this spring season!

The Pembroke Dragons brought the heat in a big Section VI Unified Basketball win over the Clarence Red Devils! On Senior Recognition Day, our incredible seniors showed true sportsmanship, skill, and heart on the court in an epic game. Special shout-out to Tim Woods for hitting the game-winning shot that sealed the title for the Dragons! It was an incredible day celebrating our Seniors and a First Place Victory! Excellent job to all athletes and thank you to our Seniors for a fantastic season!!!
