Last night, we celebrated the recognition of two exceptional Dragons at the annual Recognition Banquet hosted by the Genesee County Youth Board and Youth Bureau. Among the honorees was Lilly Senko, a Junior at our Jr/Sr High School, who was presented with a Youth Recognition award. Lilly's dedication to serving her community through active involvement in various school and community-based organizations earned her this well-deserved recognition.
Additionally, our School Resource Officer, Deputy Reeves, was honored with the Genesee County School Resource Officer Award for his outstanding service to our school community. Deputy Reeves has consistently gone above and beyond to ensure the safety and well-being of our school community.
Please join us in extending our heartfelt congratulations to these two remarkable Dragons for their achievements. Their contributions embody the spirit of excellence and service we value and celebrate in our community.
We are very excited and proud to share that the Pembroke Central School District has been recognized as one of the nation’s Best Communities for Music Education, for the fifth year in a row, by the NAMM Foundation! The Best Communities for Music Education designation is awarded to school districts across the United States that demonstrate special achievement in efforts to provide access to quality music education for all students. It highlights student participation, the rigor of instruction, and overall community engagement.
Our music department would like to thank the Pembroke community for its continued support. If you have a child in the music program and/or have attended any music event, YOU have helped us receive this award! Together we have been able to offer outstanding opportunities to our students, and we appreciate the part you play in the success of our music program.

29 Pembroke Juniors attended the National College Fair at the Buffalo Convention Center today. Over 160 colleges were present with representatives available to talk to students about their college programs!
Congratulations to our Pembroke Intermediate PageTurners on their Division win at the Spring competition that was held on March 13th at Alexander CSD. With a combined score of 40 points, they now advance to the regional competition at Pavilion on April 23rd from 5:30-7:30. Advisors Mrs. Zauner and Mrs. Franks would like to thank their team for all their hard work and thank the parents for their support. Go Dragons!

On Friday, December 1st, students from Pembroke's Unified Club participated in the Buffalo Polar Plunge. These students raised over $1,000 for Special Olympics and had a great time plunging into the cold water at Woodlawn Beach State Park. Go Dragons!
